DEMTETER-TÓTH JUDIT
- Music aritst and composer
My name is Judit and I'm from Budapest, Hungary. Youdit was created as a brand to join all the different areas I work within the music industry.
Music has always been the most natural way for me to express emotions or reflect on situations. I started taking lessons at a young age. I studied Classical Music in Budapest at Béla Bartok Music Conservatory, I played the piano and the clarinet. I was also involved in the Hungarian folk music scene as a singer. But as I wanted to get to know the pop music scene a little bit better, I decided to study in London, at University of West London, where I got a degree in Popular Music Performance and Recording. This degree opened up whole new territories for me that I'd have never imagined doing in the industry. I fell in love with composing for moving image.
I realized that I naturally take a visual approach to composition, I associate sounds with colours, moods and assumptions. I enjoy experimenting with different music genres, instrumentations and combining electronic sounds with acoustic and vocal harmonies. Besides composing for moving image (animations, short films or ads), I also manage my artist profile, where I write songs, give small concerts and just enjoy sharing songs on the more popular spectrum. My music has been described as 'the haunting, layered vocals, the mysterious, spacious instrumentation and honest, current lyrical deliverance create an internal atmosphere in the genres of dream pop/electro pop'. I must add that Hungarian folk music is also a huge part of my identity and I create music in Hungarian as well. All these factors have inspired my current sound and my approach to music composition.
MÁTYÁS TÓTH

As we had been collaborating with Judit, it was clear that we would like to take it to the next level. We have tied the knot for life, why not join forces in our work too?!
I also graduated from University of West London, where I majored in Music Technology and Radio Broadcasting.
I am a massive fan and collector of films and music, which have been to my advantage in my work. I work as a Sound Assistant in the Film Industry. I've become very interested in video shooting techniques and the relationship between image and sound/music in university. I also love sound design, so in my work, I aim to create the atmosphere of a story through mood music. With Judit we complement each other in music composition. She works out harmonies and melody easily while my approach is simplicity and sound design.
Radio Broadcasting was also part of my university studies and during this time I started a radio program at our university's radio station, called Cinematic. It focused on directors', actors' work, music choices and famous dialogues from movies. These episodes are also available to listen (Click on the Mic Icon below).
BEN HANGA
- Sound engineer, Producer, Mixing and Mastering Engineer
My music education started in Hungary when I was seven with guitar and solfege at Kodaly Zoltan Music School. Later, I studied Music and English in high school. At the age of 24, I started writing songs and working in music production, and in 2009 the song I wrote for the band Cozombolis was nominated for the Viva television’s Viva Comet Award. Later I became the band’s tour manager for two years before moving to London.
In 2014 I started the Music Technology Specialist course at London College of Music (UWL), I had the opportunity to immerse myself in music production and music recording. In a year's time, I founded my recording, mixing and mastering company called Hanga SoundLab and became a permanent mixing and mastering engineer for record labels like DYNAMICA and Hot Cue Music. My aim is to deliver high quality, polished final products and I am passionate about my commitment fighting against the ‘loudness war’. I prefer mixes that take you on a dynamic journey, instead of just being generally loud.
Lately, I have started working on forming a society in London that would represent and help the musician and audio engineer community worldwide.
PARTNERSHIPS, COLLABORATIONS
Piros Animation was founded in 2018 in Budapest, Hungary. Its members formed into a team at Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design after working together on several projects. However they have different styles and skillsets, they work as a team and towards a coherent final product. They work mainly in advertisement but each of them makes original short movies as one of the main departments of their studio.
Youditmusic takes part in the sound design/foley and original music composition for their projects.
Youditmusic has worked on several different projects with students studying at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest, more specifically on the Animation department. These projects were mainly spots to advertise animation-related screenings, events and short animation films for graduating students.
